A few years ago, my husband and I learned the hard way that parents usually need a vacation from their family vacation!!
As naive first-time parents we were beyond excited about our first family vacation. However, that excitement soon turned into frustration and anxiety when we had to choose which essentials we were going to pack and which we would leave behind.

I was stressed out and exhausted and we hadn’t even gone through security yet – with a car seat, a stroller that had to collapse, a baby bag with breastmilk in it, two carry-ons, a large handbag with all the “just in case” stuff and a baby that had to be carried.
As we pre-boarded the plane with all the other heavy-laden parents, I noticed that most were visitors to my beautiful island. I knew there had to be an easier way to vacation in The Bahamas with small children and I decided I would do something about it!!
As a mom of two littles, I know the struggle of traveling with them and it’s my mission to help fellow parents take a load off so they can reset and recharge when they visit this paradise I call home.
As a mom-owned and operated small business, I’m proud to have been a “vacation game changer” for over 600 families at Nassau’s top destinations so far and have made new friends from all around the world. With your help, I plan to expand to serve guests visiting our other Bahamian islands. You can see what some of them have to say below.

I cannot express enough how much this rental service simplified our vacation! We traveled with two small children, 3 years and 9 months. All the supplies were in great shape, and everything was customized for our children’s needs. Worth every penny and highly recommend!! Fantastic baby/toddler equipment rental experience. We rented the pull cart which was a godsend on such a large property. Great customer service start to finish. Fantastic service! All the equipment was waiting for us at our hotel. It was clean and in great shape. We rented a snoo and a baby Bjorn bouncer and it was great to have all the equipment like we were at home! This service is amazing! We used the car service with multiple car seats and rented a bassinet from Traveling Tots and all went incredibly smoothly. I forgot a cooler of breast milk in the car from the airport and Tishka went herself to pick it up and deliver it to me. If you’re thinking about using Traveling Tots, do it! We used this company when travelling to Nassau for our 9 month old. We inquired and rented an exersaucer with next day delivery (same day delivery was even offered). Communication and delivery was quick and the equipment was in excellent shape. Our baby loved it 🙂 We traveled to the Bahamas for spring break with our four kids and two Nannie’s and Tishka was our savior! We were able to travel light and rent most everything we needed and it was all very high quality / new / super clean. Highly recommend!!
